中西文化差异中的文化身份建构——解析电影《推手》和《喜宴》

摘要:

作为最具影响力的导演之一,李安以其拍摄的电影来展现东西方文化冲突,传达了处于美国边缘社会群体的呼声。文章的主要创新点在于整合李安的两部电影《推手》和《喜宴》所包含的思想内容,围绕影片中的冲突来分析其产生的原因即中西文化差异,深入探讨了差异所造成的华裔移民个体的身份认同和身份建构,研究李安的电影可以让我们更深刻的了解周围世界,充分掌握中国与西方的不同特点,在多元化的社会语境中构建起植根于中国文化基础之上的新的文化身份,达到有效的跨国界和跨文化交流。

Abstract: IAs one of the most influential directors,Ang Lee displays cultural conflicts between the East and the West through films he shot,conveying the voices of the United States marginalized social groups.The main innovation of this paper is in-depth study of individual identity and construction of ethnic Chinese immigrates because of differences between the East and the West,through analyzing the causes of the conflicts in Ang Lee's movies Pushing Hands and The Wedding Banquet,that is,the differences between the Western culture and the Eastern culture,and integrating ideas contained in two films.Studying Ang Lee's films can help us understand more about the world,grasp the different characteristics of the East and the West,build new cultural identities on the basis of Chinese culture under the multi-cultural context in order to achieve effective cross-border and cross-cultural exchange.
